Another day, another challenge! This one just happens to be my latest creation for the wonderful Squigglefly and this is for Squigglefly Challenge #29 (SFC2912) - Paper PIERCING. The image I have used is called Sassy Sally and Bella Play Hide & Seek by one of my favourite digi artists Cheryl Alger. The image is a new release and appears to be SO new it isn't on the Squigglefly site yet but I am sure it will be there very soon. If you haven't checked the site out yet then please give it a look because they have an amazing site with literally hundreds and hundreds of digi stamps. Cheryl Alger has even had some of her images made into proper rubber stamps and I have bought a few over at Quixotic Paperie featuring another of her adorable characters, Lulu.
Our theme this week is paper PIERCRING (not to be confused with PIECING, which we did a couple of weeks ago too!) and as I am not adept at using a sewing machine I tried the Tim Holtz faux method, I used his ruler which has evenly spaced holes which are perfectly sized for a decent pokey tool. All the papers used on the card are Basic Grey (obviously!), the flower die is by Memory Box and the Rosette is a Tim holtz/Sizzix hybrid topped with a Lily Of The Valley sentiment stamp.
So there you have it, I hope you like it and I will be back again in a couple of days with another card for you to peruse. Take care,
hugs 'n stuff,
Andy
xx
