So, another day, another card. This one is for the latest challenge over at I ♥ ProMarkers (#130) and our theme this week is - Gardens. A nice open challenge this one, lots of different options for you to do so I am expecting a massive turnout, which is always a treat when it comes to commenting duties, you get to see so many beautiful creations, it makes being a Design Team member really worth doing.
My card has a lovely Cheryl Alger image which I got from Quixotic Paperie (available here). Oddly, the stamps appear on their site under Kraftin' Kimmie!! They are called Springtime Lulu and cost an amazing £15.99 which I thought was a great price for good quality rubber stamps that have three images per sheet (there are quite a few sets) and loads of sentiments too.
If you like this image then you can also find more of Cheryl's images at Sassy Cheryl's Digis. It's a great site with loads and loads of really cute images and also some real bargains in her $1 and $2 Bargain Bins. She even has a Challenge Blog too where you can win images.
Enough about Cheryl then. I have received some great feedback about my last entry which concentrated on Sunday's and how they differ today from the Sunday's of my youth. I enjoyed writing it and would like to do more writing like that, so keep your eyes open and you never know, this time of year always makes me melancholic and I start thinking about the great times I spent on the beach at Redcar or in the cinema (the one place on earth I always felt safe in). The weather reminds me of those biting cold walks home from school, eyes shielded from the swirling sand which seemed to be on every street, no matter how far you were from the beach!
God, this is making me nostalgic now, who knows what I will write next time! There will be another entry here soon, on that you can be certain.
If I don't see you through the week, I'll see yo through the window,
Hugs 'n Stuff,
Andy

hmmmmmmmmmm... there were no words last time I looked lol..... ignore the email... :)
ReplyDeleteRedcar beach... not a place I went to often but did go there a few times for dog shows. I seem to remember Seaton Carew (is that how it's spelt???) but that was in my long distance past when my mam and dad would take me out with the motor bike and sidecar. Oh how great it was to be old enough to ride pillion..... no such thing as a crash helmet on sunny days... but omg when you got caught in the rain.. literally soaked to the skin.... as Barbara S. would say.... memories.
On to todays card :)
Cute image, love the sentiment and fab die cuts.May I say sir... her hair is brilliant. Well done you.
